About

Citizen Jane is a feminist film forum combatting the gross underrepresentation in the film and television industry. We add much-needed new voices and perspectives to film and media criticism at a time when male film reviewers outnumber female critics 2:1, and critics of color are still grossly underrepresented. Our overall mission is to re-write The Canon for film and television, examining past and present work with a new lens.
