Stephens Alum Produces a “Defying Gravity” Remake

An alum from Stephens MFA in TV and Screenwriting program — Sarah Phillips Batchelder — worked as the director, cinematographer, and visual effects artist on her rendition of “Defying Gravity” from the hit musical Wicked. After working on the VFX for 15 months she was finally able to premiere the short at the beginning of February.
